STEAM Family Night
Thursday, November 18, 2021
5pm to 7pm
Come join us for lots of fun, animals from Oxbow Meadows, coloring/art, necklace making, STEM activities (slime, catapults, erupting spheres, etc.), Drones, Robots and STEAM activities (gears/Knex, 3D printer, Ferrofluid, Big Trax, Ozobots, Buzzwire, Arches, Bop-A-Light, etc)

Please be advised that on STEAM Night, the only entrances to the building will be through the main entrance (front office) and the bus ramp entrance. The fourth and fifth grade entrance (Achievement Hall) will be CLOSED.

Annual STEAM Family Night: Will be hosted on Thursday, November 18th. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This event will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, including a Silent Cake Auction. At 7:00 pm there will be a last call for bids and winners will be announced. All students and their families are invited to attend. There will be tons of amazing activities for everyone to enjoy. We are excited to have this incredible family involvement night which bring joy and excitement to students and their families.

2nd CANNED GOODS FUNDRAISER KICKOFF: Marion County High School CTAE organization is sponsoring this campaign which feed the communities. The dates for this campaign are October 15th-31st. One class per grade level that collects the most canned goods will get treats.
RED RIBBON WEEK: October 25th – 29th. Students can dress up on the days listed below. FALL FESTIVAL: This year’s Fall Festival is coming. We will have tons of fun games and stations to visit. Some of the exciting things we will be offering are inflatables, popcorn, games, snacks and much, much more! Tickets will be 50 cents each. *We will begin selling tickets on Monday, Oct 25th. Fall Festival will be Friday, October 29th. Parents will NOT be able to attend this event due to COVID restrictions. FALL PARTIES: Friday, October 29-; parties will start @ 12:50 pm.

L. K. MOSS PINK OUT DAY: Friday, October 22nd. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear “PINK” on this day in observance of breast cancer.
SCHOOLSTORE.COM FUNDRAISER: Start Monday, October 18th. This year we are partnering with SchoolStore.com to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed. SchoolStore’s program is 100% online so there is no selling or handling of money or products. Your participation is easy with no more than 12 minutes of your time required, and there is a nice prize program available to make this a fun experience. Wednesday Oct 27- "Drugs are wack" wear wacky tacky clothes
Thursday Oct 28- "Wake up and choose to be drug free" Wear your Pajamas. (Wear appropriate shoes to school, pack slippers in bag to change into.)
Friday Oct 29- "Hocus Pocus, Drugs aren't our focus" Wear your Halloween costumes. (NO masks, wigs, buckets, or accessories)
