RED RIBBON WEEK: October 25th – 29th. Students can dress up on the days listed below. FALL FESTIVAL: This year’s Fall Festival is coming. We will have tons of fun games and stations to visit. Some of the exciting things we will be offering are inflatables, popcorn, games, snacks and much, much more! Tickets will be 50 cents each. *We will begin selling tickets on Monday, Oct 25th. L. K. MOSS PINK OUT DAY: Friday, October 22nd. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear “PINK” on this day in observance of breast cancer.

SCHOOLSTORE.COM FUNDRAISER: Start Monday, October 18th. This year we are partnering with SchoolStore.com to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed. SchoolStore’s program is 100% online so there is no selling or handling of money or products. Your participation is easy with no more than 12 minutes of your time required, and there is a nice prize program available to make this a fun experience. Thursday Oct 28- "Wake up and choose to be drug free" Wear your Pajamas. (Wear appropriate shoes to school, pack slippers in bag to change into.)
Friday Oct 29- "Hocus Pocus, Drugs aren't our focus" Wear your Halloween costumes. (NO masks, wigs, buckets, or accessories)

HELPING FIGHT HUNGER CAMPAIGN: Ameris Bank from Buena Vista, GA is sponsoring this campaign which feed the communities. The dates for this campaign are October 1-31. Each grade Pre-K – 5th grade will bring in nonperishable foods and one class in each grade that collects the most will get treats.

FLU SHOTS: will be given at LK Moss for faculty, staff, and students on Tuesday, October 5th from 12:30 pm – 2:15 pm. Parent/s must come with students in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Permission forms will be sent home by students (in book bags). If you are interested, please turn in this form to the front office by Thursday, September 30.

BOOK FAIR: You can order books online until September 24, 2021. The website is bookfairs.scholastic.com. Click on Find Your Fair, type in LK Moss Elementary School on School Search, press enter, then select school.

Parents: Don't forget to join us at LK Moss's book fair this week. Parents can come with their student from 8-10 a.m. each day or 2-3:15 p.m. each day. Just enter through the cafeteria door and head straight to the gym. We also also staying open until 7 p.m. Thursday evening in case parents want to come browse after school hours.
