Sumter EMC will host its very first Youth Leadership Experience for the 2023-24 academic year. They are looking for rising juniors and seniors that are willing to commit to an all-expense paid, 10-month leadership opportunity from July 2023 to April 2024 (roughly one meeting a month). You DO NOT have to write an essay or present a project. They just submit the application and two recommendation forms by May 17, 2023, and we will interview the top finalists on May 31 or June 5. The eleven winners will be announced on the June 6, 2023.
The qualifications are:
- Rising Junior or Senior for the 2023-24 Academic Year
- Attend School within Sumter EMCs Service Territory*
- Good Standing within the School System
- GPA 2.5 or higher
