Mrs. Rodgers’ 3rd grade science classes have been studying soil and the effects of weathering and erosion on rocks and soil. Students conducted an edible erosion experiment where the Skittle represented a rock and the water droplets represented rain. Students also used magnifying glasses to classify 3 different types of soil. They recorded their observations and discussed their findings with their peers.
