Mrs. Becky Rodgers’ 3rd grade math classes recently began exploring the concept of area. Students are pictured using pattern blocks to measure the area of various shapes with a focus on determining the relationship between the size of the pattern blocks and the number of pattern blocks it takes to cover the shapes.
